Jamaica Beat Suriname 1-0 To Seal Place In The Semi-Finals Of The Caribbean Cup

Defending champions Jamaica defeated Suriname 1-0 on Sunday at the National Stadium, to seal their place in the semi-finals of the Caribbean Football Union’s Scotiabank Caribbean Cup while also qualifying for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

A 16th minute strike from former Rivoli player Cory Burke sealed the victory for Jamaica

Jamaica led Group One in the tournament on goal difference going into the game, but the victory separated them from Suriname on points, as they ended with six, to Suriname’s three.

The other team in the group Guyana, failed to pick up a point.
